The president of Miss Supranational Venezuela pageant has made a surprise announcement designating Ismelys Velasquez as Miss Supranational Venezuela 2022. Ismelys will carry the Venezuelan flag next month with the finals of Miss Supranational 2022 slated on July 15 at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland.
The official crowning of Ismelys was held at Teatro Junin in Caracas. The 22 year old beauty queen has vast experience in the world of pageantry and has won several minor international and regional beauty pageants. She was Miss La Guaira 2020, Top 10 at Miss Venezuela, Miss Mesoamerica International 2021 and above all she’s this year’s Reina Internacional Del Café.
The main event however was the selection of Miss Supranational Venezuela 2022. Selene Delgado was hailed as the winner and she will represent Venezuela at Miss Supranational 2023 pageant. The first runner-up Francisca Rodríguez while the second runner-up is Nicole Carreño. Completing the Top 5 are Claudimar Oropeza and Gregmary Vargas.
Selene Delgado is 26 years of age. She’s pursuing a degree in architecture at Universidad Santa Maria. She competed at Miss Venezuela 2021 pageant representing Miranda where she was named as the 4th runner-up.
