Mrs. World is popularly known as the first beauty pageant for married women with the first pageant taking place in 1984.
The U.S. based pageant is now the biggest marital pageant in the world and typically features ladies from roughly 80 countries. This year about 60 women will be representing their respective countries and the reigning Mrs. World, Kate Schneider, will crown her successor.
